Total November volume, at 1,456,259 units, fell 4.1% annually, following a 2.0% annual decline in October and respective 2.4% and 1.6% annual gains seen in September and August, respectively. Total February volume, at 1,423,500 units, was off 0.5% annually. Trailers continued a longstanding decline, falling 19.8%, to 37,063, and domestic containers, at 667,434 increased 1.0% annually. All domestic equipment, which is comprised of trailers and domestic containers, at 704,497, was off 0.3% annually. ISO, or international containers, at 719,003 fell 0.8% annually.

2024 domestic containers, at 2,245,992 units, were up 6.5% annually, and trailers, at 158,404, fell 6.2% annually. All domestic equipment, which is comprised of trailers and domestic containers, came in at 2,404,396, for a 5.6% annual increase. And ISO, or international, containers, at 2,290,966, rose 9.6%.

Total December volume, at 1,526,922 units, posted an 8.3% annual gain. All domestic equipment, which is comprised of trailers and domestic containers, at 764,950, headed up 6.4% annually. ISO, or international containers, at 761,972, rose 10.2% annually.

Total November volume, at 1,519,046 units, headed up 5.3% annually, said IANA.

Total October volume, at 1,649,394 units, increased 8.9% annually, said IANA.

IANA reported that total third quarter volume, at 4,627,631 units, headed up 9.8% annually, growing for the fourth consecutive quarter, following eight straight quarters of annual declines. The first and second quarters saw annual gains of 8.8% and 7.7%, respectively.

Total August volume, at 1,585,012 units, increased 8.3% annually and topped July’s 1,528,132 units.
