Dematic Valpak AGV

Keeping product in continuous motion at Valpak's Manufacturing Center is the job of 17 automated guided vehicles (AGVs) from Dematic: 13 vehicles for reel handling, plus four forklifts for palletized loads. The reel handlers operate in the print roll area, moving reels of signatures from buffer storage to the collators. The forklifts transport pallets of filled trays from the collation line to a station where the pallets are broken down into smaller loads for sorting by postal route.
