The possibility of the economy entering a recession, at this point, appears to not be a matter of if it occurs, but when will it occur. That was a key theme in a session this week at the SMC3 JumpStart 2023 conference held in Atlanta.

Boise, Idaho-based Truckstop.com, a load board and provider of spot market freight matching services, and Chicago-based 3PL Redwood Logistics said they are partnering up to mesh their Truckstop.com’s instant load booking feature, entitled Book it Now, with Redwood’s LoadRunner TMS.

Truckstop.com said this week that Book It Now will be available for free for a limited time to freight brokers using Truckstop.com Load Board Pro, adding that it is free for carriers and will appear on their Truckstop Mobile application.

Freight transportation and logistics services provider Schneider and Truckstop.com, a load board and provider of spot market freight matching services, announced this week they recently completed a pilot program that provides intuitive advanced functionality to Schneider carriers, entitled “Book it Now.”

This investment will allow Truckstop.com to better serve its customers by significantly increasing the number of development professionals employed by the company and thereby increase the quality and quantity of products offered.

While its day-to-day objectives remain the same, the online load board freight-matching service Internet Truckstop announced today it has a new name: Truckstop.com.
