Rising stars ready to shine at Logistics Awards 2025

Friday 22 August 2025

Logistics UK has published the shortlist for its Rising Star of the Year Award at the prestigious Logistics Awards 2025, which return in 2025 for their ninth year. The overall winner will be announced at a glittering awards reception and celebratory gala dinner to be held at the Park Plaza Hotel overlooking the River Thames in London on 11 December 2025.

Logistics UK's annual Logistics Awards are the only awards for the industry and by the industry. There is full multimodal representation in the entries from road, rail, water and air, including logistics operators, manufacturers and supporting industries.

Nominations for the Rising Star of the Year award have been taken for individuals from any field of logistics who excel in their role and are destined for success – the only criterion is that they must have fewer than five years’ experience in the sector. To showcase the incredible talent working in the sector, the Rising Star of the Year Award has been enhanced for 2025 with all the entrants being featured in a forthcoming Logistics Magazine skills supplement. The overall winner will be announced at the Logistics Awards in December.

The following individuals have been shortlisted in the Rising Star of the Year category:

  • Beth Baxter, Swain Container Solutions
  • Brooklyn Hoban-Langley, Tarmac Cement Ltd
  • Callum Gutteridge, Metro
  • Diana Yatskiv, GXO
  • Elliott Lancaster, Omnes Global/Keele University
  • Hollie Strange, DHL Supply Chain
  • Rory Sneddon, Metro
  • Sophie Mitchell, Howard Tenens Logistics
  • Stephen Twiselton, XPO Logistics

Logistics UK’s Acting Chief Executive Kevin Green said, “The entries for our 2025 Rising Star of the Year Award demonstrate the up-and-coming talent within our sector, with individuals from across the industry demonstrating their high standards and commitment to delivering for customers. I know that our board is going to have a very tough challenge in deciding on the eventual winner, and everyone shortlisted should be incredibly proud of their achievement in making it this far.”

The awards evening - which is sponsored by Brigade Electronics, Close Brothers, Howard Tenens Logistics, Logistics UK Recovery Service, Port of Dover and Wise - will include a champagne reception and three course meal, with top quality entertainment and dancing to celebrate the achievements of the industry.
