The November LMI score came in at 58.4, which is off 0.5% from October’s 58.9, the fastest monthly rate of expansion going back to September 2022—and the 12th month of expansion since a 49.4 reading in November 2023. The September LMI score was 58.6, with growth over the last three months viewed as “highly consistent,” the report stated.

New JLL report addresses a ‘period of adjustment’ for industrial real estate market
The report, entitled “2024-2025 Industrial Tenant Demand Study,” explained that requirements have fallen 1.8% annually, to 792,000 square-feet (SF), with companies adopting a more cautious approach and focusing things like lean cost savings and carefully evaluating their options. And it added that this shift is paced by multiple things like inventory carrying costs, interest rates, and supply chain considerations.  

Colliers Midyear 2024 Report: Big-box industrial outlook shifts, with softening demand and slower rent growth
The report observes that while Big-Box industrial product was the beneficiary of the highest developer interest and tenant demand during what Colliers calls the “hyperactive real estate cycle in 2021 and 2022,” it has since returned to pre-pandemic levels, with less surplus and lower demand.

Fremont, Calif.-based RK Logistics Group announced it acquired a Tempe, Az.-based facility and assets from warehousing and expedited transportation services provider Southwest Supply Chain Solutions.

DC Logistics said that its plan to bring GLS US Freight and GLS US Solutions into the fold aligns with its strategic vision as what it called a “Premier Powerhouse LTL carrier in the Southwest United States, further enhancing our commitment to delivering exceptional value.” DC Logistics currently has operations in California and Arizona, as well as Laredo and El Paso, Texas.
