New Guaranteed by Noon LTL service is introduced by Averitt

Cookeville, Tenn.-based freight transportation and logistics services provider Averitt Express said this week it has introduced a new delivery service for its shipper customers.

The new delivery service—Guaranteed by Noon LTL—is available in select zip codes, according to Averitt, with the company adding that it ensures that Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipments will be delivered by 12 p.m. on the published standard transit date. The company added that Guaranteed by Noon LTL is equipped to meet higher demand for expedited deliveries, with shipper customers able to see if their delivery address qualifies for the service through an online zip code checker.

“We are constantly looking for ways to enhance the value we provide to our customers,” said Kent Williams, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Averitt. “Our Guaranteed by Noon service is another step in delivering reliable and efficient solutions that our customers can count on to meet their shipping needs.”

An Averitt spokesperson told LM that the Guaranteed LTL by Noon service is a natural extension of Averitt's existing Power of One services, noting that when added to the company’s existing suite of guaranteed and expedited delivery options, it fully completes the package of offerings to meet shippers' expanding LTL delivery needs.

The spokesperson also touched upon the various benefits this service provides for shippers.

“When customers need extra peace of mind for LTL, they already rely on Averitt for our ‘Guaranteed by 5 pm’ and other time-definite delivery options,” she said. “The Guaranteed by Noon option provides even more flexibility for shippers and consignees alike, and with our technology integrations, they can rate and book these shipments instantly and can even check eligible ZIPs for guaranteed delivery on our website. Averitt is well known for our reliable service, and we were recently ranked #1 in Expedited in Logistics Management's 2024 Quest for Quality awards.”

As for the competitive benefits this new service provides Averitt as a company, the spokesperson said that when you combine Averitt's existing reputation for on-time, quality service with its top-ranked Expedited services, the ability to meet a shipper's need for customized guaranteed LTL delivery is a natural fit for its team.

“Add into that our technology solutions such as Averitt.com and Averitt Connect, customers can get rates quotes and book their shipments instantly online, all with the confidence that they are getting Averitt's premium service,” she said.
