DB Schenker announces agreement to acquire USA Truck
DB Schenker said it will acquire all outstanding shares of USA Truck common stock for $31.72 per share in cash, adding that the transaction values USA Truck at roughly $435 million, including assumed cash and debt.

Report indicates DSV has interest in acquiring C.H. Robinson’s Global Forwarding business

Waterloo, Ontario-based Descartes, a provider of logistics based on-demand, software-as-a-service offerings, said this week it has acquired Nelson, New Zealand-based CORE Transport Technologies NZ Limited, an electronic transportation network that provides global air carriers and ground handlers with shipment scanning and tracking solutions.

DSV to acquire Panalpina for $4.6 billion, create a top 5 global 3PL
The many moving parts that have been part of the interactions in recent months between Basel, Switzerland-based global 3PL and airfreight forwarder Panalpina by Hedehusene, Denmark-based global 3PL DSV, in regards to the latter’s pursuit of the former as an acquisition target, have taken yet another turn, with the companies announcing today that they are going to merge.
