September POLA and POLB volumes see annual declines
The Port of Los Angeles reported that total volume, at 883,053 Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units (TEU), fell 7.5% annually, and the Port of Long Beach reported that total September volume, at 797,537 TEU, was off 3.9% annually.

POLA and POLB see mixed June volumes

POLA reported that September volume came in at 954,706 TEU (Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units), representing a 27% annual increase, hitting a new September record. The Port of Long Beach reported that September volume, at 829,499 TEU, topped September 2023 by a mere 70 TEU, topping September 2023 for a new record for the month.

Total POLB August volumes hit all-time high for the port
Total August volume came in at 913,873 TEU (Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units), marking a 33% annual gain, and topping the previous all-time monthly high of 907,216 TEU by 6,657 TEU or less than 1%. What’s more, this tally represented only the second time that total monthly volume topped the 900,000 TEU mark.

July Port of Los Angeles and Port of Long Beach volumes set new monthly records
POLA reported that total July volume, at 939,600 TEU (Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units), increased 37% annually, marking the port’s best July in its 116-year history, as well as its highest-volume month in more than two years. July POLB volume, at 882,376 TEU, saw a 52.6% annual increase, setting a new July record in the process, supplanting the previous July record, set in 2022, by 12.4%.

Port of Los Angeles and Port of Long Beach report strong January volumes
POLA volume came in at 855,652 TEU (Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units), for an 18% annual increase, and POLB reported that January volume, at 674,015 TEU, increased 17.5% annually.

November POLA and POLB volumes continue to see growth
The Port of Los Angele reported that total November volume, at 763,262 TEU (Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units), posted a 19% annual gain, and the Port of Long Beach reported that total November volume, at 731,033 TEU, saw a 24.2% annual increase.

POLA and POLB volume gains remained intact in October
POLA reported that total October volume, at 725,775 TEU (Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units), was up 7% annually. The Port of Long Beach reported that total October volume, at 755,150 TEU, was up 14% annually.
