Prologis and Performance Team roll out largest electric charging depot in Southern California
A collaboration announced this week between two well-known supply chain players—San Francisco-based real estate investment trust company Prologis and Performance Team, a subsidiary of Copenhagen, Denmark-based A.P. Moeller Maersk, an integrated global logistics services provider, operating more than 140 electric vehicles across the U.S.­—heralds the rollout of the largest heavy-duty electric vehicle (EV) charging depot in Southern California.

Randolph, Mass.-based RoadOne IntermodaLogistics, a provider of intermodal, distribution, and logistics services, said earlier this week it has acquired Houston-based regional intermodal service provider The Transporter Inc. A purchase price was not disclosed. The Transporter will now be known as Transporter Intermodal Logistics, a division of RoadOne.

Forward Air announces acquisition of Chicksaw Container Services
Forward Air Corporation recently announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of Chickasaw Container Services, Inc. (“CCS”), a privately held intermodal drayage provider. The transaction will be funded from cash on hand and is expected to close in November 2022.

Strategic partnership between NTG and Flexport focuses on supply chain visibility
