During a press conference on Monday, Bastian Solutions (Booth S1203) unveiled the CB18, an automated guided forklift.

Highly flexible and scalable, the CB18 has been designed to address a wide array of issues, including inventory tracking, overall operational visibility, and a lack of labor and space within their DCs and warehouses.

The CB18 will help companies overcome the high demands typically associated with peak seasons, while increasing DC and warehouse safety.

“Safety was a major focus in designing the CB18 and will be a key reason customers choose it,” said Michael Marcum, general manager, autonomous vehicles at Bastian Solutions. “It will enhance users’ operations, too, as it will efficiently move pallets across distribution and manufacturing facilities.”

To do so, the CB18 can be integrated with a variety of materials handling equipment offerings.

“We were eager to launch the CB18 at ProMat,” added Ron Daggett, SVP, Technology and Engineering at Bastian Solutions. “We can’t wait to see it positively change DCs’ and warehouses’ productivity throughout the world.”

ProMat 2023 was held March 20-23 at Chicago’s McCormick Place. The tradeshow showcases the latest manufacturing, distribution and supply chain solutions in the materials handling and logistics industry. Modern’s complete coverage of the show.
