Bastian Solutions merges with viastore North America

Bastian Solutions, a Toyota Automated Logistics company, is merging with viastore North America, strengthening its position in warehouse and materials handling automation. The move brings viastore’s expertise in pallet handling technology under the Bastian name, expanding its capabilities in automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) and warehouse integration.

“Uniting viastore’s North American operations under the Bastian Solutions brand allows us to better serve our customers with a comprehensive range of automation solutions,” said Ariel Oliveira, President of viastore North America.

With this merger, Bastian Solutions is enhancing its ability to provide end-to-end automation for warehouses and distribution centers. The move aligns with Toyota Industries Corporation’s (TICO) strategy of streamlining its automation companies under the Toyota Automated Logistics Group, which includes Bastian Solutions, Vanderlande, Toyota L&F, and viastore.

Viastore’s North American team will now operate as Bastian’s pallet automation division and continue working from their Grand Rapids, Michigan office. Bastian’s regional sales and support team has also relocated to the same facility to ensure seamless service.
